With his positive attitude and love for fencing David "Lucky" Polakoski is the ideal assistant instructor for our club. David helps us on a contractor basis and competes for the No Fear Fencing Group. He finished 7th at the 2008 US National Championships as a member of coach Jens' team. David is rated category "A" by the USFA and has experience in epee and foil. |

As the founder and head coach of the Encinitas Fencing Academy, Coach Stephan features years of experience as a successful international competitor and fencing instructor. Although many of his students are recreational fencers looking to master the art of fencing, students of his classes and programs feature national medalists at the cadet, junior and senior levels, NCAA varsity athletes and All Americans in several prestigious schools. It is a cornerstone of the Encinitas Fencing Academy to provide its students with the possibilities to pursue this sport to whichever level they want to pursue it. |
