Individual Safety of our students is one of our main concerns, as our teaching staff is trained and certified by the US Fencing Coaches Association. We also feel honored to contribute in the education of your children by teaching virtues such as focus, discipline and etiquette which will help them achieve lifelong success on and off the fencing strip. Your own well being is important to us as well, and we appreciate the time you sacrifice to give your kids the opportunity to learn this fascinating sport - thank you! At the Encinitas Fencing Academy we believe that learning never stops, and that it is never too late to start learning something new. Fencing is a lifetime sport, and there are many examples of “late bloomers” that climb up competitive ranks. Whether you aspire to be a successful competitor, or if you are just looking for this fascinating sport as a recreational activity, we at the Encinitas Fencing Academy believe that the choice should be yours to make. That is why we treat our Adult Beginners with the same amount of respect and attention that we give to our most successful athletes and prospects. Our competitive program is a staple of the Encinitas Fencing Academy. We offer specialized training sessions for competitors, teach competitive theory and offer highly individualized practice sessions and tournament services. Our students compete with great success in local, regional and national events. Several of our students achieved individual national rankings as high as top 10 in groups from Youth-12 to Senior. Our students have been recruited by NCAA Division I and II schools and some are now representing major university programs. Policy: Please keep in mind that the Encinitas Fencing Academy has a policy of not accepting students with prior fencing experience outside of our system. If you are looking to change your club, contact us and we can refer you to another fencing club in your area. The Encinitas Fencing Academy offers courses and programs at our new fencing studio located in beautiful Encinitas at 613 Westlake Street. We also offer private lessons. Contact us now!
